Included in the tuition are textbooks, a stethoscope, a uniform top, class supplies, and discounted CPR rates through Heart Savers.

Course Requirements and Certification

The course comprises 80 classroom hours and 40 clinical hours. Students are required to achieve at least 80% in classroom exams, clinical grades, and the final exam. Additionally, they must pass the Arizona State Nursing Board Exam to become a CNA. For LNA licensure, additional fees and background checks are required.

Enrollment Prerequisites

Prospective students must not have any active felony convictions in the past three years or any unprofessional conduct. Post-registration requirements include passing the CNA/LNA Admissions Test, completing a physical form, a liability form, providing negative TB test results, current CPR certification, passing a background check and drug screen, and providing proof of legal residency or citizenship.

COVID-19 Vaccination Policy

While COVID-19 vaccination is recommended, it is not mandatory. Unvaccinated students or those who decline vaccination must adhere to additional testing and mask requirements or may face limitations in clinical placement.
